The Schaerbeek Beer Museum is a museum dedicated to Belgian beers. The non-profit organization of the museum was created on March 9, 1993, while the museum opened its doors for the first time a year later, on March 25, 1994.
The museum offers a collection of more than 2000 different bottles of Belgian beers as well as 5000 glasses. Old machines that were used to make beer, cooper's tools, signs, trays, various advertising objects, old documents and all that from existing or no longer breweries. It is the folkloric character Pogge who guides the visitor thanks to the various didactic panels. The museum also presents the reconstruction of a tavern from 1900-1930.
