The Royal Palace of Brussels is located on Place des Palais. Born from the union of four private mansions built in the eighteenth century, Walckiers, Bender, Belgiojoso and Belle-Vue, it now houses the office of the King of the Belgians, who grants his audiences and carries out his official activities there, as well as a few Richly decorated reception rooms used for various annual events such as visits by heads of state and Christmas concerts.
